Orly - Angel Eyes

T-1 Days and counting until the holiday break! Today I have some swatches of a polish called Angel Eyes by Orly from their Naughty or Nice holiday 2012 collection. Angel Eyes consists of blue micro glitters along with holographic hexagonal glitters in a clear base. For my swatches I used 3 coats of Angel Eyes on its own to show off its true beauty. I would recommend it to be worn over a deep blue or even black to save yourself some time (and make the polish last longer), but if you would like to wear it on its own, wait a few minutes in between coats or it will smudge and or become uneven.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Christmas Trees

Only 3 more days remaining in the challenge guys! Today's theme is Christmas trees, and since I've featured trees in 2-3 of my manicures already, I didn't want to make a long winded post about them. I did a tape manicure starting off with Milani Silver Stilettos as the base color and China Glaze Glittering Garland as the trees. After that I drew some red ornaments o, threw on some holographic stars for the top of the trees and called it a day! What do you think?

Naild'It Unique Nail Polish - Caramel Apple Swatches & Review

It's exactly one week from Christmas! I can't wait to be off school and be around family, what are you looking forward too?

Today I'm here to show you a Naild'it Unique Nail Polish called Caramel Apple. I believe it was originally released as a part of  her fall collection, but I think it may be a part of her holiday 2012 collection as well. Caramel Apple consists of brown, copper, and green glitters of different shapes and sizes along with large gold holographic hexagonal glitters. The unusual twist to this polish is, it actually smells like caramel apples!

Below is one coat of Caramel Apples over two coats of You Don't Know Jacques by OPI.
This polish is absolutely beautiful! I love how versatile this polish is, and how easily and evenly it applies. It also does not need a top coat to have a smooth finish, but I did apply one coat for personal preference. The also enjoy the smell of the polish. It is not too over powering or too subtle which is perfect.

Naild'It is currently not selling from her Etsy shop, however it can still be purchased from LlaroweOverall Beauty , and Mei Mei's Signatures. For sneak peeks, swatches, and updates like her Facebook fanpage HERE.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Lights AND Santa

It's the last week of school before Christmas Break, YAAAAY! School is kicking my butt right now, but this semester is almost over so that's good! I'm pretty sure everyone doing the challenge fell behind after what took place on Friday, so in order to catch myself up I combined two of the days into one manicure. Theme for Saturday was lights/ornaments and today's theme is Santa which is my accent nail.

Nails For Newtown

I left my house at 6:00am this morning, and I just got home and it's almost 12:00am here & I am sick and tired. But not as sick and tired I am of society and how unfair life is. As many of you know by now, there was a massive shooting in Connecticut where many beautiful souls lost their lives in a random act of violence. I won't elaborate too much, because I always find myself slipping into a deep depression when I think of life as we know it. So today, December 15 2012 many bloggers decided to wear white manicures to symbolize purity, peace & remembrance of those who lost their lives.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Snowmen

Hi guys! This was my manicure I did for yesterday's theme in the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge which was snowmen. This manicure was inspired by Robin Moses a.k.a my long distance nail inspiration/teacher. Check out her Youtube to see some of her awesome work!

The base for my manicure is Rock Solid by Orly and everything else was drawn using acrylic paint. I think this manicure is very cute and easy to do and I would recommend it to anyone getting into the holiday spirit!

My NOTD: Ozotic 743 + Color Club Snow-Flakes Matted

Quick little post for the day to show you whats on my nails right now! I started off with 2 coats of Ozotic 743 which is blue "duochrome" (not really) with a metallic looking finish.

I then added 2 coats of Snow-Flakes by Color Club from their Winter Affair collection that I picked up from Sally's. It was nice shiny, but I matted it to see what it would look like and I love it!

Here's a crummy cell phone picture that shows the color shift in the flakies!

What's on your nails today?
