Candeo Colors - New Polishes

Good afternoon ladies & gents! I hope you are all enjoying the long weekend, I know I am :D! Today I have 3 new beautiful polishes from Candeo Colors that are perfect for the summer which is fast approaching.

The first color is called Julep.

Julep consists of iridescent glitters, light blue hexagonal glitters, translucent square glitters, various sizes of translucent hexagonal glitters, and shimmer in a white jelly base. The first 3 photos are 3 thin coats of Julep with top coat, and the last 3 photos are 2 coats of Dandy Lyin' Around by China Glaze topped with 1 coat of Julep followed by top coat. I found that layering with this polish is much easier than wearing it alone due to the amount of glitter it contains. The shimmer in Julep is identical to the shimmer in Dandy Lyin' Around, so it is the perfect layering polish!

 Next up is Spring Berry.

Spring Berry consists of barbie pink hexagonal glitters, various sizes of silver hexagonal glitters, and tiny holographic glitters in a pinkish-purple jelly base. The first 4 photos are 3 thin coats of Spring Berry worn alone followed by top coat, and the last 3 photos are 2 coats of Spontaneous by China Glaze with 1 coat of Spring Berry layered on top followed by top coat.

Last, but certainly not least is Mahi.

Mahi consists of translucent hexagonal glitters, gold hexagonal glitters, tiny blue holographic glitters and iridescent glitters in a shimmery aqua base. Swatches below are 3 coats of Mahi worn alone with top coat, but it can be opaque in only 2 coats. This polish is so beautiful on its own that I didn't want to layer it over a similar color, but you could if you wanted to. It is EXTREMELY sparkly and I received numerous compliments on this polish.

I can't even pick my favorite of the bunch because they are all beautiful! The application on these polishes were amazing, no special application needed or fishing for glitters. The dry time is good if you do thin coats when applying the polish, and has a nice shine even before top coat.

These polishes will be available for purchase soon on http://www.candeocolors.com/. Be sure to "Like" Candeo Colors on Facebook for release info, swatches, and updates!

Feeling... Blue?

Hey guys! I just wanted to quickly show you guys what I'm rocking on my nails at the moment. This cute lil stamping design was created using Dandy Lyin' Around by China Glaze along with an unreleased polish from Candeo Colors as the base. I then stamped over it using Inkblot Blue by Finger Paints and plate CH33 by Cheeky. I love how blue and white compliment each other, what do you think?

NOTD: Orly Two-Hour Lunch & Candeo Sweet Sierra

Good afternoon ladies and gents! I rarely post what it actually on my nails by the time it gets up on the blog, but I decided to show you what's currently on my nails. I am wearing two coats of Two-Hour Lunch by Orly topped off with one coat of Sweet Sierra (Full review here) which is currently on sale for $9.00 at Llarowe if anyone was interested! This is my first time layering it over a color that isn't a shade of purple and I must say I love how different it looks!

Candeo Colors - Snowbird Swatches & Review

Good afternoon my loves<3 ! Today's post is gonna be short yet sweet because I am 1) Lazy and 2) Tired ( At least I'm honest haha).

This polish is called Snowbird by Candeo Colors. Snowbird is a glitter topcoat containing matte blue glitters in various sizes, medium gold holo hexagonal glitter, and tiny holographic green glitters.

Below Snowbird is shown over 2 coats of NYC's Water Street Blue.

I love this polish! It applied beautifully and its such a beautiful twist on the expected blue winter polish. In retrospect, I should have swatched this over a lighter color so you could truly see the beauty of this polish. Perhaps I will in the future and update this post, who knows.

Candeo Colors - Fully Loaded Swatches & Review

Happy Hump Day! We are officially half way through the week, and I don't know about you but I am ready for the weekend!

Today on the blog is Fully Loaded by Candeo Colors from their winter collection. Fully Loaded is a glitter topcoat that consists of small white hex, black holo hex, black squares, and different sizes of grey hex glitter with a subtle holographic shimmer.

Below is one coat of Fully Loaded shown over 2 coats of Yellow Whiz by Milani.

I love how shiny this polish looked without a top coat and how flat the glitter lays. The holographic shimmer also adds a nice touch to cream polishes without over doing it. They nailed the glitter ratios in this polish! (No pun intended). So what do you think? A must have polish, or one you'll pass on?

Candeo Colors - Laser Light Swatches & Review

I absolutely despise Mondays, who agrees with me?!?! But I love blogging which I will do whenever and where ever (but I admit once I am finish writing this post, I am going to SLEEP!).  Today's polish is another Candeo Colors polish in the color Laser Light.

Laser Light definitely lives up to its name! Laser Light is a glitter top coat that is jam packed with holographic bar, hexagonal, and even crescent shaped glitters. Below is one coat of Laser Light over 2 coats of Finger Paints Go Van Gogh!

I'm usually not a fan of anything with bar glitters because they tend to lift or require special placement so they are not hanging over your free edge, but these ones did not! The glitter laid completely flat and applied decently on the nail. The only thing I have to say is to make sure your base color is completely dry or it might drag off.

What's on your nails today?

Candeo Colors - Sweet Sierra Swatches & Review

Good evening everyone! Hope you all had an amazing holiday weekend jam packed with lots of shopping for those of you who it applies to, and even if it does not I still hope everything was good.

Today I have the first of 4 Candeo polishes I will be swatching for you that I won from the lovely women behind Llarowe, Leah Ann LaRowe <3. It is called Sweet Sierra & it is apart of their winter 2012 collection. It is a glitter top coat containing purple, pink, and silver holographic glitters of many different shapes and sizes.

Below one coat of Sweet Sierra shown over 2 coats of Milani Cool Vibes.

I was actually so surprised by the quality of the polish. It didn't require any special application and was not thick at all! I've had a seriously horrible experience with one of their polishes before, so this was like a complete redemption. Did I forget to mention it is BEAUTIFUL?!?
