12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Christmas Trees

Only 3 more days remaining in the challenge guys! Today's theme is Christmas trees, and since I've featured trees in 2-3 of my manicures already, I didn't want to make a long winded post about them. I did a tape manicure starting off with Milani Silver Stilettos as the base color and China Glaze Glittering Garland as the trees. After that I drew some red ornaments o, threw on some holographic stars for the top of the trees and called it a day! What do you think?

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Lights AND Santa

It's the last week of school before Christmas Break, YAAAAY! School is kicking my butt right now, but this semester is almost over so that's good! I'm pretty sure everyone doing the challenge fell behind after what took place on Friday, so in order to catch myself up I combined two of the days into one manicure. Theme for Saturday was lights/ornaments and today's theme is Santa which is my accent nail.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Snowmen

Hi guys! This was my manicure I did for yesterday's theme in the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge which was snowmen. This manicure was inspired by Robin Moses a.k.a my long distance nail inspiration/teacher. Check out her Youtube to see some of her awesome work!

The base for my manicure is Rock Solid by Orly and everything else was drawn using acrylic paint. I think this manicure is very cute and easy to do and I would recommend it to anyone getting into the holiday spirit!

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Holly/Wreath

Today's 12 Days of Christmas Challenge theme is holly/wreathes. At first, I attempted to do wreathes thinking it would be easy but sadly I was mistaken. So then I looked up holly on google because I had no clue what it was to be honest and gave those a shot. My base color is Signature Gold by Milani and it is topped off with Dreamy by Darling Diva Polish. The holly itself and berries were hand drawn with acrylic paint. Here is the final results:

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Candycane

Good afternoon! Today's post is yesterday's 12 Days of Christmas Challenge that's been delayed. My cold got the best of me and the smell of nail polish was making my head worse (that's when you KNOW its bad!) ! The theme for the day was candy canes and I was a little nervous because I didn't have striping tape and had no cups to do a water marble like I did last year so I did a free hand over Milani's White on the Spot. I'm pretty pleased with the final look!

Darling Diva Polish - A Christmas Story Swatches & Review

Good afternoon loves, hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far :). Today I have a polish to review for you guys by Darling Diva Polish which I have completely fell in LOVE with! It is called A Christmas Story which was inspired by the movie of the same name. It is made up of red and holographic green micro glitters in a clear base.

Below is one coat of A Christmas Story over 2 coats of Orly's Grave Mistake and China Glaze's Glittering Garland (ring finger).

I cannot believe how AMAZING the coverage is with this polish, I can hardly imagine how sparkly and beautiful 2 coats would look! I have tested it on it's own, and full coverage is possible in 2-3 coats on its own but I prefer it over a base... that way I preserve this beauty ;). It applies very easily, but I recommend a good topcoat for a nice smooth finish. This just SCREAMS Christmas, I highly recommend it to any one still looking for a nice Christmas polish, or just to add to your collection because I'm pretty sure this is a limited edition polish!

Darling Diva Polishes costs between $8-$12 and can be purchased from her etsy shop found here. Don't forget to check out her Facebook fanpage found here also for sneak peeks, updates, and deals!

Time to Trim the Tree!

Sorry for the late night blog post, but it's worth it I promise! Today I did some nail art for the final week of the Nail Polish Canada nail art competition and the theme this week is Trim the Tree!

"Lights, ornaments, tinsel, frosting, heck, even popcorn on a string if that's your thing. Let's see your nails all dolled up like a Christmas Tree!"

My base color for this manicure is Silver Stilettos by Milani and everything else is hand drawn with acrylic paint. On my index finger and pinky are holiday lights, on my ring finger is ornaments, and on my middle finger is a decorated Christmas tree covered in snow.

I really love how this turned out! If you liked this manicure please vote for me & share it with your friends, greatly appreciated! :D

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Snowflakes

Quick little post for today's 12DoCC. Today's theme was snowflakes. My base color is Glittering Garland by China glaze (which I have been wearing all week with no chips!) stamped (horribly might I add) with my Cheeky plate using Milani's White on The Spot.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge Day One: Red

You read the title right, I've joined another nail art challenge but this one is Christmas related. Thanks Iced Lacquer for creating this challenge and giving me something to occupy my time hahaha. Last month has been mostly reviews (and I still have a few more coming this month), but this month will be more nail art for you guys and hopefully I'll give you some inspiration.

The theme for day one is red. I decided to keep it simple since most of the challenge days are nail art and I didn't want to overlap any ideas. The base color for my manicure is Emberstone by Orly, and to spruce it up a bit I did a red border with my glequins from the Born Pretty Store.

Can't wait for the next days to come!

Bring On The Snow!

Good afternoon my loves! Personally, I was gonna wait until December to start these but.... It's time for HOLIDAY NAILS!!!! I was kindly sent an email from Nail Polish Canada asking to take part in a nail art contest, and how could I not? This week's theme is snow. My base color is Milani in the color Sail Away, and everything else is hand drawn. Here's what I came up with.

If you could please do me a favor and vote for me it would be greatly appreciated. I'm going up against some really big bloggers and to be honest I'm kinda nervous ahaha.
