I Love Nail Polish Swatches & Review

Today I have 3 beautiful polishes to show you by a brand called I Love Nail Polish, 2 of which are Valentines Day themed and the other is New Year themed.  They come individually packaged in these super cute boxes which also have the names of the polishes on the bottom of them. I also received her business card with all their contact information that I will have posted at the bottom.
The three polishes from left to right are: 11:59, Candy Gram, and No Place Like Rome.
11:59 is a glitter top coat that consists of black hexagonal glitters in various sizes, black square glitters, gold circle glitters, and gold shredded glitter. Below is one coat of 11:59 worn over 2 coats of Gumdrop by Orly.
Next up is Candy Gram. For some reason, this polish just screams Cat in the Hat to me! Candy Gram is also a glitter top coat and consists of black shredded glitter, white square glitter, tiny turquoise square glitter, hexagonal turquoise glitter, and white heart shaped glitter. Below is one coat of Candy Gram worn over 2 coats of Sidewalkers by NYC.
Lastly there is No Place Like Rome (haha get the joke ;D ). No Place Like Rome is packed with various shapes and sizes of red glitters such as square glitters, hexagonal glitters, and even circle glitters! Below is one coat of No Place Like Rome worn over 2 coats of Mysterious Curse by Orly.
I LOVE how bold these colors are and how they pop, truly stunning glitter combinations. They all applied beautifully and dried quickly. I did have to do some fishing for the hearts in Candy Gram, but sometimes I got lucky and the brush picked them out. My favorite hands down is Candy Gram, I may even like shredded glitter now because of it!

I Love Nail Polish retails for $10.00 and can be purchased from http://www.etsy.com/shop/ILoveNP?ref=seller_info. If you have any questions and concerns you may contact Barbra at Barbra@ilnp.com or Phone her at (702) 339-0720. Don't forget to like I Love Nail Polish on Facebook!

Pretty & Polished: Pinkie Pie Swatches & Review

Hey guys! Today I have a beautiful limited edition Valentines Day polish from Pretty & Polished to show you. This polish is called Pinkie Pie and it consists of light pink & magenta hexes, iridescent glitters, and holographic magenta bar glitters in a clear base and is meant for layering. Below is one coat of Pinkie Pie layered over two coats of Uptown by NYC.

This polish is absolutely stunning and is very nice to work with. There was no need for dabbing or placing glitters, and finishes smoothly without a topcoat if applied properly. I'm not really a fan of bar glitters, but it is so subtle looking on the nails and the holo on them really stands out.

Pretty & Polished retails from $5.00 for 7mL bottles and from $9.00 - $9.50 for 15mL bottles. They can be purchased from her etsy shop found here or her main shop found here. Don't forget to "Like" their Facebook Page for updates and restock information!

Utopia's Polish Swatches & Review

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! Today I have 5 gorgeous polishes by Utopia's Polish to show you. No time for jibber jabber, let's get straight to the polish!

First up is Luck O' The Irish. It is a beautiful seafoam green jelly that contains holographic and non holographic hexes, squares, and hearts of different sizes, and also has green and red micro glitters and gold shimmer. Below is two coats with one coat of Gelous for a smooth finish. I absolutely ADORE this shade of green!
Next up is Be My Sweetheart which was created for Valentines Day. This polish consists of red hexes and squares of different sizes, red hearts, white hex glitter, holographic gold hexes, red bar glitter, and gold shimmer in a light pink base. Below is 2 coats alone along with a coat of Gelous for a smooth finish. This polish totally reminds me of strawberries!

Next is Warrior Princess which I believe was also created for Valentines day. I call this the ultimate girly bomb because it consists of purple hexes, pink hexes of different sizes, pink circle glitter, pink squares, holographic hexes of different sizes, and a bit of silver shimmer in a blue-toned pink! Below is two coats alone along with a coat of Gelous for a smooth finish.

Next up is Brilliant Ideas. This polish consists of TONS of purple and pink hex glitter, blue hex glitter, holographic pink glitter, silver holographic hex glitter, and a bit of silver shimmer in a light blue jelly base. Below is 2 coats alone along with a coat of Gelous for a smooth finish. This kind of reminds me of Warrior Princess, but they are both beautiful in their own way.
Lastly is Creative Energy. This polish consists of large black hex glitter, black shredded glitter, violet and lavender hexes and squares, silver holographic hex glitters, and tiny red hex glitters in a white base. Below is 2 coats alone along with a coat of Gelous for a smooth finish. This is actually my favorite color combination, and for it to be in polish form made me even happier! Next time however I will try layering it over white since there is so much glitter over powering the look.
Overall I really do love these polishes! I've known about this brand for a while but have never purchased from their before, but these beauties I surely will be! Other indies have some competition, they better watch out! I've never seen anyone create combinations for polish quite like this & even with larger glitters there was no need for glitter placement or special application.

Utopia's Polish can be purchased from her etsy shop found here where mini's range between $4.50-$5.00 and full sized bottles range between $9.00-$10.00. There will be a restock today including these colors so get your wallets ready! For more updates and sneak peeks Like Utopia's Polish on Facebook here.

Darling Diva Polish Upcoming Valentines Day Collection Swatches & Review

Wooooo this is my 100th blog post! These few months of blogging have been amazing and I can't wait to see what the future holds for me! And just a heads up, these photos have been taken with my new camera, so tell me what you think of the new quality.

Today I have 2 polishes from the upcoming Darling Diva Polish Valentines Day collection that will be released on January 1st, 2013 to show you guys. Before I get into details about the polish itself, I want to talk about the new labels. If you check some of my older DDP reviews, you'll notice that the old labels were made out of paper and had the brand name & name of the polish written on it. The new labels are written on a clear label so that the contents of the polish can be seen through it, and the logo is in a pretty new font with a swirly design around it. The names of the polishes are now on the bottom of the bottle along with the size of the polish.

The first polish I have to show you is called BJ. BJ was named after Carrie's soon to be sister in-law, but if you have a mind like mine you might have been thinking it was named after something else hahaha. BJ is a hot pink soft holographic polish with tiny silver holographic hex glitters. In the bottle and on the nail when it is out of the light, BJ looks like a plain old pink polish with silver shimmer and a bit of silver glitter. But when it is in light, boy does it look like a whole different polish! Below is two coats of BJ on its own.

This polish really surprised me. I think it's because I didn't have any pink holo quite like this that looked so bright and sparkly. It's very hard to see the glitter within it behind all the holo, but when you can see it, it is a beautiful addition to the polish. It applied very easily and is smooth even without a top coat.

Next up is Ménage à Trois. In Canada one of our official languages is French but even if you don't speak french, I'm pretty sure you know what the name of the polish translates to. Ménage à Trois consists of red hex glitter, multiple sizes of purple/ fuchsia holographic hexagonal glitters, and purple shimmer in a pink jelly base. Below I used three coats of this polish on its own, however it gave full coverage in two coats.

This polish is another winner for me. If applied properly this polish has a very smooth finish, but I used a topcoat because I dented them by accident lol. This polish can be layered over various shades of pinks, reds, purples, or even black for different looks which I think is pretty darn cool!

Darling Diva Polishes costs between $8-$12 and can be purchased from her etsy shop found here. Don't forget to check out her Facebook fanpage found here also for sneak peeks, updates, and deals!
