Darling Diva Polish - Care Bear Collection Swatches & Review

Good afternoon everyone, I am super excited to show you a recently released collection by Darling Diva Polish that I think you will love! The collection is based off of the show Care Bears (ERMAHGERD!!!!) and consists of 6 beautiful polish. I received 4 of the 6, but from the swatches I've seen the other 2 (Good Luck Bear & Cheer Bear) are beautiful! But before we get to the polish, there's one thing we have to do... SING A LONG TIME!
The four polishes I received are (from left to right) Care Bear For A Crow, Grumpy Bear, Love A Lot Bear, & Care Bear Stare.

First up is Care Bear For A Crow which consists of various colored heart and flower glitters and black hexagonal glitter of different sizes in a clear base along with tiny blue and purple shimmer. I admit, at first glance I thought I wouldn't like this polish, but once I put it on it was a whole different story! This polish is sure to brighten up any plain old manicure, and the shimmer is subtle yet very sparkly over light colored base polish. Below is 2 coats of Care For A Crow layered over 2 coats of U Pinky Swear by Milani.
Next up is Grumpy Bear which is named after the Care Bear of the same name. Grumpy Bear consists of cloud colored flower glitters, pink hearts, and white hexagonal glitter of various sizes in a periwinkle duochrome. Perfect polish to represent this angry little cutie pie! Below is 3 thin coats worn alone, but it may be layered if you like.
Next is Love A Lot Bear which is named after the Care Bear of the same name. Love A Lot Bear consists of holographic gold hexagonal and square glitters, white hexagonal glitters of various sizes, hot pink heart glitters, and holographic red heart glitters in a pink duochrome crelly base. I love the glitter combination in this polish, gold and pink together is like a match made in heaven! Below is 3 coats of Love A Lot Bear worn alone.
Lastly is Care Bear Stare which is something you should know very well if you know this show! Care Bear Stare consists of various sizes of white hexagonal glitters, white heart glitters, white star glitters, purple to blue iridescent hexagonal glitters, and pastel rainbow glitters in a clear base. Yet another polish I was unsure about at first glance, but my opinion quickly changed after putting it on my nails! Below is 2 coats of Care Bear Stare worn over 1 coat of Lacey Lilac by Sally Hansen.
Curiosity got the best of me and I wondered what Grumpy Bear, Love A Lot Bear, Care Bear Stare, & Wicked Attraction (from yesterday's post ) would look like layered over black. From left to right is Care Bear Stare, Love A Lot Bear, Grumpy Bear, and Wicked Attraction. All I can say is WOW, I would have never imagined the changes some of these polishes had. I especially like the
blurple color Love A Lot Bear has when layered over black.
I liked all of the polishes, but my favorites are definitely are the 2 glitter top coats. The glitter combinations are so unique and can be worn over almost any color base. All of these polishes needed a coat of Gelous in order to achieve a smooth finish due to the large shaped glitters within them. A bit of fishing is also needed in Grumpy Bear and Care Bear For A Crow, but it sure is worth it if you ask me!

Darling Diva Polishes costs between $8-$12 and can be purchased from her etsy shop found here. Don't forget to check out her Facebook fanpage found here also for sneak peeks, updates, and deals!

Darling Diva Polish - Dreamsicle, Shadow Puppets, & Wicked Attraction Swatches & Review

Sorry ladies and gentlemen for the super late post, the desktop computer I used was SUPER slow and took me HOURS longer than usual. Today I have 3 of 7 polishes from Darling Diva Polish to show you, the other 4 will be posted tomorrow afternoon.
First up is Dreamsicle. Dreamsicle consists of holographic and metallic hexagonal and square glitters of different sizes along with white hexagonal glitters and square glitters of different sizes in a orange sherbet colored crelly base. Below is 3 extremely thin coats worn on its own.
Next up is Wicked Attraction which consists of purple to blue iridescent glitters, purple hexagonal glitter, blue hexagonal glitter, and tiny holographic glitters in an indigo jelly base. Let me say in advance that I LOVE this polish to death, I was screaming ERMAHGERD for 10 minutes before I actually photographed my nails. Below is 2 coats of Wicked Attraction layered over 2 coats of Plum  Noir by Orly, but it can be worn alone in 2-3 coats.
Lastly is Shadow Puppets which consists of various shapes and sizes of black heart, star, hexagonal, and circle glitters, gunmetal grey hexagonal glitters, and tiny silver glitters in a white crelly base. I did have to fish around a bit for the circle and heart glitters, and placed them to my liking. Below is 2 coats of Shadow Puppets layered over 1 coat of White On the Spot by Milani (which I recommend doing).
Overall I loved all of these polishes, however I don't think Dreamsicle works well with my skintone & I think it would look better on someone with a more fair skintone. All of the polishes applied smoothly and were easy to work with, but Shadow Puppets may require a coat or two of top coat to even out the polish due to the larger glitter.

Darling Diva Polishes costs between $8-$12 and can be purchased from her etsy shop found here. Don't forget to check out her Facebook fanpage found here also for sneak peeks, updates, and deals!

Born Pretty Store 12 Colors Nail Art Glitter Powder

Good afternoon everyone! This is my last review/post before you see my nubbins (thank goodness I photographed these nails before they broke!) and it is for the Born Pretty Store. I received the 12 Colors Nail Art Glitter Powder and it is just that. It comes with 12 different colors as shown below.
My base color for this manicure is Blazed by Wet n' Wild and I applied the glitter to the nail using a fan brush.
The glitter stuck to the nail polish very well and did not flake off even without a top coat. I love how icy this look specifically is, and can't wait to create more looks with these glitters. The colors I received are all beautiful, but I personally dislike that you will not know which colors you will be receiving in your order as they randomly select colors when packaging. Another downside to these is that these are really small containers for the price and will probably only last 3-5 manicures per jar, especially if your nails are long.

The 12 Colors Nail Art Glitter Powder cost $6.14 with free shipping, but Daisy has provided me with a coupon for you guys to make the deal even sweeter! If you use the code "SKL91" during checkout you will receive an additional 10% off your purchase from the Born Pretty Store for all of your nail art needs.
Don't forget to stay in touch with the Born Pretty Store for more deals and updates!

I Love Nail Polish Swatches & Review

Today I have 3 beautiful polishes to show you by a brand called I Love Nail Polish, 2 of which are Valentines Day themed and the other is New Year themed.  They come individually packaged in these super cute boxes which also have the names of the polishes on the bottom of them. I also received her business card with all their contact information that I will have posted at the bottom.
The three polishes from left to right are: 11:59, Candy Gram, and No Place Like Rome.
11:59 is a glitter top coat that consists of black hexagonal glitters in various sizes, black square glitters, gold circle glitters, and gold shredded glitter. Below is one coat of 11:59 worn over 2 coats of Gumdrop by Orly.
Next up is Candy Gram. For some reason, this polish just screams Cat in the Hat to me! Candy Gram is also a glitter top coat and consists of black shredded glitter, white square glitter, tiny turquoise square glitter, hexagonal turquoise glitter, and white heart shaped glitter. Below is one coat of Candy Gram worn over 2 coats of Sidewalkers by NYC.
Lastly there is No Place Like Rome (haha get the joke ;D ). No Place Like Rome is packed with various shapes and sizes of red glitters such as square glitters, hexagonal glitters, and even circle glitters! Below is one coat of No Place Like Rome worn over 2 coats of Mysterious Curse by Orly.
I LOVE how bold these colors are and how they pop, truly stunning glitter combinations. They all applied beautifully and dried quickly. I did have to do some fishing for the hearts in Candy Gram, but sometimes I got lucky and the brush picked them out. My favorite hands down is Candy Gram, I may even like shredded glitter now because of it!

I Love Nail Polish retails for $10.00 and can be purchased from http://www.etsy.com/shop/ILoveNP?ref=seller_info. If you have any questions and concerns you may contact Barbra at Barbra@ilnp.com or Phone her at (702) 339-0720. Don't forget to like I Love Nail Polish on Facebook!
