TGIF! Today I have 3 polishes from Rainbow Honey's brand new Summer of 199X collection to show you guys. Each one is beautiful & perfect year round, but why tell you when I can show you?!
First up is Mint Flavor which consists of a subtle green shimmer in an aqua/baby blue base. Usually when you hear of mint colored polishes you imagine it being more of a green color, so I was a little surprised when I saw that it looked like a baby blue creme. Still beautiful regardless! My swatches are 2 coats worn alone.
Next up is Tessie which consists of a very subtle pink and blue shimmer in a periwinkle creme base. My swatches are 2 coats worn alone.
Lastly is I Miss You which is a glitter top coat consisting of a blue shimmer and different shaped pastel glitters in a clear base. My swatches are 1 coat of I miss you over Mint Flavor, and 1 coat over Tessie.
Overall I really do like what this collection has to offer. Although I got the more "tamed" polishes of the set, they are done very well and that is always appreciated. Be sure to check out other blogger's swatches of the other colors in this collection because they are GORGEOUS. These polishes applied very easily and dried quickly. I would certainly recommend these polishes!

The fall catwalks showcased bold, unexpected colour combinations, and
nails were no exception.
Colour Clash is a chic, surprising new
collection of half tones mixed with whitened pastels and polyester
brights. Dare to pair these shades for a modern way to wear colour.
“We have this gorgeous, opaque, full-cover white in the collection
that I am obsessed with, not to mention that massive white nail trend we
have been seeing in sport luxe editorials,” says Katie Hughes, Global
Colour Ambassador. “A good white is essential as it will brighten any
colour it’s placed under, but it’s also a great base colour for creating
nail art as it punches up the colour. One of my favourite collections
yet, Colour Clash is so fun and bold.”
Cotton Buds Opaque, pure white cream A wad of cotton wool fixed to a small stick, used for cleaning.
Pimms Opaque, sun‑flower yellow cream Gin-based tradition at its finest…this refreshing beverage is almost as popular as English tea.
Giddy Kipper Opaque, indigo shimmer Refers to someone who is overly excited…like anyone who buys this lacquer will be!
Wellies Opaque, grass green cream A very popular rain boot, seen often in Britain.
Silly Billy Opaque, fire orange crème A clown popular at fairs in Britain, and a fab nickname for anyone named William.
Cake Hole Opaque, nearly-neon pink cream 1960s Brit slang referring to one’s mouth…and the desire for it to remain closed.
Sweet baby Jesus, I just finished my last exam and I am finally done with this school year!!! I just feel like singing and dancing, I am so happy to get a break!
To kick off my start of summer, I am going to do a swatch spam of some beautiful Nail Nation 3000 holographic nail polishes!
First up is Sun Goddess which consists of a golden shimmer in a sheer yellow holo base. On the first couple of coats your nail line is still visible, but after 3 coats you should be fine. My swatches are 4 coats worn alone just in case. Also, the last photo is one coat of Sun Goddess layered over a black polish ( Sorry my thumb is in the shot, but I'm blocking a project I'm working on ;).
Next is Nefertiti's Crown which is named after someone you may know as Neffy's Nail Corner in the blogging world. Nefertiti's Crown consists of gold holographic glitters and hints of red and blue glitters in a golden copper holographic base. I love how textured this polish looks, it adds a little "oomph" to the polish. But of course if you don't enjoy textured looks, a coat of good top coat will smooth things out. My swatches are 2 coats of Neferiti's Crown worn alone.
Next is Gina... So Guess What which is named after Soguesswhat11 which you have probably heard of if you've ever heard of Nail Nation 3000. Gina... So Guess What is beautiful teal mega holographic polish. My swatches are 2 coats worn alone.
This is Wicked Cool which is a navy/black/teal mega holographic polish. This color is SO unique! When I first looked at the polish in the bottle it looked black, but on the first coat the teal was VERY apparent. As I applied another coat it looked navy, but in the sun you can see the color for what it truly is, absolutely amazing. I also love how beautiful it looks in the shade ! My swatches are two coats worn alone.
This is Marthe which is named after Upclose&Polished.com. Marthe is a true deep grape purple holographic polish. I'm sure you guys know how much I love purple... and holos, so you already know what my opinion on this polish is... AMAZEBALLS (Which also happens to be the name of another Nail Nation 3000 polish :p) ! My swatches are 2 coats worn alone.
And lastly is Away From the Sun. This polish is a navy blue holographic polish. I'm not really sure if this polish is un-released, or was just a prototype because I've never seen this polish before! It truly is a beautiful polish, and although it may look similar in some lighting situations to Wicked Cool, they are completely different. My swatches are 2 coats worn alone.
